Top 20 Photos of 2013 -- #13


#13: Classic car show in Curaçao, April 2013. If this one hadn't come out so dark, it would've made the top 5 for sure, but I like how the shadows make the gleam of the sunset on the metal shine out.

  1. Hi there Guilie, you can use spot metering function of the camera to make the dark areas exposed well.. Anyway, great silhouette of a muscle classic car.. :)

  4. I think this is great. I think the darkness of the photo works though, provides a nice contrast. Great!

  5. You can do something about the darkness either on the camera or in Photoshop. Bur the darkness does make you stare longer to figure out what's going on in the photo. Either way, it works :)

    1. Oh, I'm glad it worked for you, Duncan. The only reason there's a gleam of light at all in the picture is due to post-processing, but I'm an uncoordinated toddler when it comes to Photoshop. Got a long ways to go, methinks ;) Thanks for stopping by!
