I take my dogs (I have seven, all rescues) to the beach every week.
As far as they're concerned, it's not nearly often enough. They have a blast every time,
and my greatest pleasure in life is watching them bug out and go nuts in the water.
This is Panchita, the first of the seven. This February 1st will make seven years that she's with us.
She used to be terrified of the water, wouldn't even dip a toe.
Look at her now.
Great shot. She looks like she was having fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lili. She was indeed :)
DeleteWhat a beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteIt was full-throttle.
Not one might think that she has been afraid of the water.
You have done a great job with her that made her second thoughts.
Dogs are usually very skilled swimmer.
Nicely photographed.
Well then, the last picture tomorrow.
Kramizzz on you
Haha... "full-throttle" is exactly right, Lotta :) She's a hard one to catch on camera, which is why I'm so proud of this one picture. Thanks for the visit, and yes, last photo tomorrow! Can't wait to see what you've chosen.
DeleteThis is indeed a great action shot, splashes all around, if I cover half of the picture on the right-side, I can picture a leaping deer.. All in all an excellent capture!!
ReplyDeleteThis is important validation for me. I've always thought Panchita looks like a deer--maybe it's the short tail, or the coloring--but people look at me weird when I say it. So hearing *you* say it is wonderful :) Thank you!
DeleteGreat action shot. Love your blog by the way!
ReplyDeleteYour new fan & follower.
Janina
Aw, thank you, Janina! And welcome to my blog world :) Off to check out yours!
DeletePopping by via the Damyanti post Guilie! I agree, watching dogs on the beach and in the water is the best. Unbounded joy and freedom - your picture captures it so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan! That Damyanti post totally took me by surprise, haha :) "Unbounded joy and freedom"--exactly! And it's contagious--praise be ;)
DeleteShe looks like a Panchita. I don't know what that name means or anything, just going by the sound of it.
